By Car: Route 1: A 2 hours drive along Highway No.4(Phetkasem)via Nakhon-Chaisi, NakhonPathom, Ban Pong, ThaMaka and Tha Muang (of Ratchaburi Province) to Kanchanaburi. Route 2: Drive along Highway No.338 from Bangkok to Nakhon Chaisi then switch to Highway No.4 to Kanchanaburi. By Coach : Air-condition buses leave Bangkok 's Southern Bus Terminal daily every 15 minutes from 04.00hr to 20.00hrs. The trip usally takes about 3 hours. By Rail: Ordinary train leaves Bangkok Thon Buri Railway Station daily (Bangkok Noi Station). For more information contact Thon Buri Station at 02 4113102 The special weekend train leaves Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong) at 6.30am, returning at 7.55pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
